Mateusz Romowicz is a legal adviser with many years of experience in providing legal services to seafarers and economic entities in the maritime and shipbuilding sector. He represents seafarers and maritime workers in proceedings before the tax authorities throughout Poland. He has established two legal departments for groups of companies with an international reach and profile. He is a graduate of Chicago Kent College of Law, the University of Cambridge and Uniwersytet Gdański. He gained his experience working with companies, capital groups and international holdings involved in maritime trade, shipbuilding and international trade and transport. Specialist areas: taxation, compensation and insurance for seafarers, commercial law, public economic law, tax law and international law.

Ewelina Zgódka is a legal adviser building expertise in international law, including international tax law, maritime law, European law and social security law. She has experience of contact with the tax authorities in Poland in cases concerning the taxation of seafarers and maritime workers and with filing their tax returns in Poland. Furthermore, she has conducted compensation cases for seafarers and maritime workers both at the pre-contentious stage in contacts with shipowners and P&I Clubs, as well as before the Polish courts. She has been with the consultancy since 2009.

Alicja Bożek is a legal adviser concentrating on tax law proceedings, employment law and social security. She provides legal services to natural persons applying for the right to pension benefits, including the right to bridge/pre-retirement pensions and miners? pensions. She also has a broad range of experience in family and civil law. She is a graduate of Uniwersytet Gdański and has completed a postgraduate course in Taxation and Tax Consultancy. She gained her early professional experience working for the tax authorities and has been with the Mateusz Romowicz Legal Consultancy since 2010.
